I started my Pilates journey over 30 years ago.

When I was a teenager I loved Highland dancing, however my joints did not enjoy the impact on them, especially while I was still growing. After a particularly nasty injury to my hips I was lucky enough to discover Pilates and I’ve been practicing ever since.

I spent 20 years working in the corporate world in marketing roles and my Pilates practice helped me stay fit and moving despite sitting at a desk most of the day. It also helped me manage the stress of the corporate world by focussing my attention on my body during classes.

After 30 years of self practice I finally decided to start my teacher training in 2022 so I could share all the benefits I’d found in Pilates with others. I especially enjoy working with those with specific needs such as neurological conditions or Osteoporosis. Whether you are new to Pilates or, new to one of my classes I’d love to get to know you.
